It's not your fault, you're doing your best and so is your child.
No one prepares us for the difficulties of parenthood, especially when the child presents particularities (sensory or behavioral challenges, developmental delay, neurodivergence, trauma, etc.) .
Yet it is our most fundamental task.
There is nothing more painful than feeling resentment and despair when it comes to your identity as a parent.
I know it as well as you, I went through it too; wondering sometimes, in my darkest moments, why on earth I chose to be a parent if it was to see myself fail so miserably.
Maybe you have the impression that your child is ruining your life because they behaves in a destructive or dangerous way and you feel scared or out of control.
Or you just can't understand your child or how to interact with them without feeling rejected or misunderstood.
You may have come to a point where you no longer find pleasure or joy (or too seldom) in the company of your child.
I created this community to help you regain confidence and hope by guiding you to new ideas and techniques based on the latest research in relational neuroscience, neurobiology, Polyvagal theory and theory of attachment.,
Don't stay alone with your pain
Studies show that in community we heal faster, we recover more quickly and we collectively find hope. Our ancestors lived in communities. There was mutual aid, support, and wisdom.
If you're struggling, if you're exhausted, if you sometimes doubt that you made the right choice in raising children and you don't feel up to the task, you're not alone in feeling this way because parenting was never meant to be done alone.
With all the parenting “experts” today and ever-changing parenting models offering advice that sometimes contradicts itself, the truth is, that we have lost access to our intuition, through no fault of our own.
How can we survive with all these contradictions in a world where parents experience more stress and less support?

You don't need another expert telling you what to do.
First, you need support from a community to boost your confidence and connection to yourself.
Of course, I will advise and guide you, but first I will awaken your intuitive memory by sharing with you the latest discoveries in neuroscience and relational sciences. Once you are reconnected with yourself, you will be better able to sort through useful advice.
Sometimes, the way we respond to our children or raise them may seem intuitive because it is the way we were raised, but that does not mean it is intuitive.
I will help you distinguish between the two by starting to separate your story from your child and what is happening in the present moment. Perhaps you are already aware of this but are unable to change. You are repeating with your child what you promised yourself you would never do, or you are going in the opposite direction to the extreme, which is not the ideal solution either.
We never aim for perfection. Firstly, because it is impossible, and also because it is not beneficial. Relationships deepen during breakups and repairs. (Isn't that great?!!!)
Mutual aid, support, empathy, and presence are the vehicles of change.
That's why I wanted to create this community. A sacred place for you, where no one will judge you, where you can be taken care of.
Only when the child truly feels connected to himself and his loved ones that his learning, empathy and curiosity can bloom.
Your child may have received a diagnosis such as autism, ADHD, hypersensitive, ODD, PDA, giftedness, or even without a diagnosis you feel that he or she is different. Strategies that may work with more typical children don't work for them They may react excessively, are emotionally very intense, do not tolerate frustration, or on the contrary are very withdrawn, anxious or depressed.
Among these children, the rate of anxiety and depression is much higher because these children are misunderstood by society. They are often punished (the rebels) or go unnoticed (the children who mask and fawn).
Parents are also more vulnerable to burnout, depression, and anxiety. (I've been through all of these.)
In this community I will guide you to better understand your child and find more peace and moments of true connection.
Above all, I will guide you to have more compassion for yourself, especially in times when you lose your cool and feel like giving up. Resilience and change are born from compassion.

My name is Maria Bachiri, founder of Authentic Parenting and mother of 3 different children.
The study of child behavior, particularly intense behaviors and neurodivergence fascinates me. I have experienced these conditions with my children and I know the pain and the deep feeling of helplessness and incomprehension.
I followed the conventional advice which only made the situation worse, until I began to listen to my instinct which guided me towards more holistic and respectful approches.
This journey took me years. Over the course of over a decade, I've accumulated several certifications, constantly striving to better help my children and support other families. My greatest teachers are my children. I am still learning and I hope to never stop.
I want to share it with you today, save you time, and teach you what really WORKS.
I have developed a unique program born from the intersection of my experience, my intuition and my knowledge.

Community AUTHENTIC PARENTING
What is it about
- Live classes twice a month: Recordings available. The session is interactive and you can ask questions.
- Q&A twice a month: Meetings with the opportunity to answer all your questions, share your feelings, and discuss your experience. There is the possibility of forming small groups of parents (3 to 4 people) to discuss among yourselves and sometimes do small exercises (this is optional if you do not wish to participate). Duration between 90 minutes and 2 hours depending on the questions. There will also be meditations or somatic experiences.
- Bonus class once a month: See below for bonus classes. Each month, a specific topic will be discussed. You can submit your suggestions to me.
- Summary PDFs, scripts, and mantras to download.
- A private Facebook group to connect with parents like you to support each other and ask questions. I will be active in this group to answer your questions.
